About us
Our begin
Our journey began with Marco (57), a passionate martial arts enthusiast with over 45 years of experience in various disciplines, and also the owner of a gym. As a seasoned martial artist, he was always in search of the best equipment for his members, ensuring they could train optimally. He quickly discovered brands like Hayabusa, Fairtex, and Yokkao, known for their excellent quality. These brands are still present in our store today. In the early days, Marco personally dispatched his orders from his attic to his members and other gym owners.
As the demand for quality martial arts gear grew, Marco and his two sons, Yannick (27) and Leon (25), decided to collaborate in 2019. They founded kickboxing-shop.nl. This marked the beginning of a new adventure where we could share our love for martial arts with more people.
Since then, we have experienced significant growth and have long outgrown our old attic office. In the meantime, we have had to move twice to larger premises due to our growing inventory and customer base. Ultimately, in 2023, we landed at our current address: De Westerwerf 44 in Uitgeest, The Netherlands. We take pride in serving thousands of martial artists across the EU with our products annually!

At a young age, I started practicing judo and taekwondo, but nowadays, my focus is mainly on kickboxing and MMA. I train approximately 4 to 5 times a week, and my goal is to compete in my first kickboxing match in 2024. In addition to my passion for martial arts, I have a background in entrepreneurship with a specialization in marketing communication. This is also the role I fulfill within our company.
Yannick
